The effectiveness of a corporate meeting is determined partly by the creativity of a concept, but above all by its development. The technological component has to interact right from the planning stage of the event. Only in this way can budgets be optimized and the main message conveyed. 
We have a long experience of producing conventions of all kinds – from virtual meetings to mega assemblies with thousands of participants.

EXCOGITARE REACHES THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL

Second year running with PepsiCo for hospitality at the event

First in 2016 at Milan, then 2017 in Cardiff, Excogitare has provided multimedia skills and technologies for the two events.

In Milan, the 600 square meter area of PepsiCo, the sponsor of this major trophy, was equipped with 2 large LED walls, a video camera system for show cooking, a lighting system, loudspeaker system, and an audio system with DJ consoles. Excogitare and Bluefactoryevents also collaborated to produce an interactive application for Gatorade, where guests could take selfies in a “Champions” environment and personalize their Gatorade bottle.  The “Champions” photos then powered intense activity on the web.

In Cardiff, besides the hospitality area of the Village, equally sparkling, rich in design and technology, Excogitare also organised audio-video and lighting installations for an internal PepsiCo event with around 250 guests. This included a show of about an hour where every brand of the group involved in the UEFA sponsorship showcased their activities in diverse ways: videos, presentations, talk shows, parkour performances and soccer ball tricks…  concluding with the live singing of the UEFA anthem, the presentation of the trophy and the participation from their hotel in Cardiff of the fantastic Black Eyed Peas, the group chosen this year for the opening ceremony.

CISCO AND “LITTLE CUBES”

Cisco made the decision to use Christie MicroTiles™ at the Riccione Congress Hall, enhancing its Top Partners’ digital installations at the 2017 edition of the multinational’s annual get-together. The event provides an opportunity to explore the new challenges of digital transformation. 
A curved video wall and a number of 55-inch monitors brought high-impact staging to life.

Multimedia technologies for the first assembly

After a long collaboration with the Banco Popolare Group, in April 2017 Excogitare also designed the event space for the first shareholder meeting of the new Banco BPM, created by the merger between Gruppo Banco Popolare and Banca Popolare di Milano. We provided multimedia services and technologies.

A video wall solution composed of 24 MicroTiles™ with Christie multitouch iKit added zing to an interactive application created by Excogitare. The whole ensemble helped to enhance the collections of fine jewellery from the French fashion house.

Big screen for dermatology congress

Dublin Convention Centre, June 2015,

350 dermatologists from around the world spent two days listening to 16 speakers. Excogitare provided expertise, audio and video technology, and lighting. Electronic voting, video recordings, slide graphics, walk-ins and transitions were all supported by a large, 36 meter screen.

A festive evening in collaboration with Sartoria della musica at the Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan marked the occasion of Kazakhstan’s national day, forming part of the Expo2015 events. Excogitare supplied a 6.5 metre LED screen and video with monitors and remotely-controlled camera.

 

SUPER-PROJECTOR FOR EVENTS

Rent a 30K-4K CHRISTIE BOXER – the power of a heavyweight with the agility of a middleweight.

The super-projector was designed to make a high-impact when renting. It is ideal for large events and 3D mapping. Unique in its class, the super-projector offers unbeatable performance, lumens and dimensions. Boasting 4k 4096 × 2160 resolution with genuine TRULIFE technology, it offers excellent image quality, including HD, thanks to its internal Christie Upscaling processor. Easy handling ensures reduced time and costs when compared to inferior set-ups: the Christie weighs only 68kg as against 124kg for projectors of similar performance. It measures 96 x 60 x 30cm compared to the traditional 153 x 91 x 72cm. The super-projector features three 1.38” DLP chips and six lamps using Mercury technology, which makes it the quietest in its class. It also has a full range of lenses and is integrated with Christie’s Twist system. It can be positioned in different settings, thus compensating for design and staging constraints. It even allows distorted images to be mixed and corrected in multivision use or complex mapping. The super-projector is powered by a simple single-phase electrical source as opposed to an industrial, three-phase supply.

Excogitare also offers projectors such as the Christie 14K-M, less bright than the Boxer 30K, but with outstanding performance despite its compact size. It can be used in low-lighting environments and when only smaller projection screens are available.

Banco Popolare Group

Partners’ meetings in 5 cities

For several years we have managed partners’ meetings, AGMs and EGMs for thisItalian banking group. In particular, we have handled the construction of the US facilities, including audio, video and lighting, as well as directing events. We have also been managed the televising of contributions via the multipoint videoconference link to various meeting locations. Events like these require absolute integrity, professionalism and organisation with thousands of people gathering to follow the reports on economic the group’s forecasts and to vote for the approval of the budget. We have managed several multipoint meetings, where up to 14,000 people have attended and voted simultaneously in five Italian cities.

An internal meeting full of activities and emotions

Incentive session with ten edited montages in real time in Miami, FL

ALTANA Pharma asked us to organize an incentivesession for 100 participants. There were ten groups, each given a theme and one afternoon to create a short film.
We prepared a kit with everything needed to create a movie and a detailed guide for each of the participants. Each team was given a map and a van with a guide. Each person could choose a role and for each role there was an envelope containing tools and instructions: the director, the cinematographer, the screenwriter, the sound engineer, the cameraman, etc. A team of six editors were waiting for on their return and in the space of a few hours they put together the 10 films that were screened and received awards during a gala dinner.
This type of incentive session, organized back in 2003, which was already complex enough to organize presented even more of a challenge given the very narrow timeframes allowed and the high level of care that we gave to all the details.

How many times have we heard this from the client?
We built a library of content: from graphic games, lights, strobe effects, buildings collapsing, vegetation sprouting  and so on and so forth. Some of our generic graphics can be easily customized with bespoke colours, logos or shapes inspired by the event. Using special software we can map a variety of generic content onto the set, making it seem to move, spin around or disappear completely – with only a day’s notice, if required.
We can also stream live content or project interactive content and map it directly onto the set.

Video wall for a "wow effect" with MicroTiles™

For the fourth year running, Excogitare took Christie MicroTiles™ to the BEA (Best Event Awards) Festival organised by ADC Group.
This year again, the Foyer of the Teatro Parenti in Milan featured an 8×2 metre video wall composed of 84 MicroTiles™. In collaboration with Clonwerk, which was responsible for content production and Filmmaster, in charge of design, the 48 videos of the short list candidates for the BEA Awards for the best event of the year, were again brought to life this year. ALTANA Pharma was Excogitare’s first client in the pharmaceutical sector in 2001 when it was still called BykGulden, until 2008 when the company was acquired by a Danish pharmaceutical firm. Working for ALTANA Pharma has been very useful in terms of the experience it offered us as a launch pad for the international market. In those years, we realized that we could compete with other agencies at the international level by offering expertise and flexibility. We have been involved with numerous stands, interactive installations, symposia, internal meetings and special events with ALTANAPharma.

DLM, Dermathology Leaders Meeting 2014, Amsterdam

Meeting for 350 marketing executives

With a picturesque location, the terminal for cruise ships from the local harbour with 350 pax, the plenary hall was enhanced with a large stage and a 15×8 meter screen with 4 projectors of 20,000 ANSI lumens managed media by a server and graphics mixer. We used projections and lighting to create a stunning and unique  atmosphere. Each brand presented their product using their own creative ideas, which produced  a very complex mix of communication and performances: from dance to storytelling.
We also added magic to the gala dinner with lights, live music and special effects.

DLM, Dermathology Leaders Meeting in 2013, Istanbul

Meeting for 250 marketing executives

This was the first global meeting of Novartis’s Dermatology Division and where the “Skin to live in” campaign was presented. For the plenary we created three large white walls on which we showed different projection layouts depending on the presentation. For the staging we used 5 20,000 ANSI lumens projectors, lights, audio and related control rooms. To emphasize the content being presented, we created an application with which it was possible to write keywords and then project them on the screens at the critical moment.

A wired and wireless network for Sudler & Hennessey

In 2010 this major communications agency needed to set up a dedicated network for a special pharmaceutical meeting with 400 participants in Istanbul.
We designed and built a wired and wireless network to cover the public areas, workshops and meeting  rooms and enabled the use of 400 iPod Touch to allow participants to follow the proceedings facilitate remote voting.

Internet even in the presence of large numbers

We offer a Wi-Fi coverage service within a stadium or arena for a huge audience. How many times has it happened while watching a concert or a sporting event that attendees have not been able to share the emotion of the moment with friends because their smartphone reads “Cannot connect to the internet. Try again …”? We can guarantee Wi-Fi coverage to an audience of between 5,000 and 60,000 people. The system provides simultaneous access to 75% of those present, making network, web applications and active contentavailable.

Christmas events

Christie MicroTiles™ and large projections

Vibram also chose for the first time Christie MicroTiles™ with a configuration that has reproduced the shape of the company’s logo with 52 MicroTiles™ for the firm’s Christmas dinner, held specially for its partners in Montebelluna, Treviso. To celebrate with all their employees at the Albizzate factory in Varese, Vibram chose a solution which involved projecting onto four large screens in Milan. We provided both solutions and the highly effective content production was prepared directly by the customer.
